Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Footbridge - Scout Market collects, why, and how you keep control of it. Questions and privacy requests: devlopper.2025@gmail.com.
1. Data you give us
- Account. Name, email address, role (player or recruiter), date of birth.
- Player profile. Country, city, position, preferred foot, height, weight, current club and status, club history, profile photo, highlight video links or uploaded videos.
- Recruiter profile. Organisation, city, country, years of experience, description, covered markets, positions sought, languages, professional email, Instagram, WhatsApp, licence or credential images and links you choose to upload.
- Activity. Trial listings you publish, applications you send, messages and attachments exchanged inside the app, reports and blocks you submit.
- Technical. App language, device push token, and basic error information needed to operate the service.
2. Why we use it
- Run your account and show your profile to the audience you chose
- Match players with relevant trial and detection opportunities
- Deliver applications and messages between players and recruiters
- Send push notifications for applications, messages and listing updates
- Enforce our content rules and act on reports
- Manage subscription status
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. What other people can see
- Player profiles and football CVs are visible to recruiter accounts, and to anyone holding the public share link or QR code the player generates.
- Recruiter profiles and published listings are visible to players.
- Application details are visible to the player who applied and the recruiter who published the listing.
- Messages are visible only to the participants of the conversation.
4. Processors we rely on
- Cloudflare — application hosting, database (Durable Object storage) and media storage.
- Rork — authentication service behind Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, push notifications (APNs) and In-App Purchases.
- Google — optional Sign in with Google.
- RevenueCat — subscription status for In-App Purchases.
- TheSportsDB — public club crest lookup. Only a club name is sent; no personal data is shared.
These providers process data only to operate the service on our instructions.
5. No artificial intelligence
Footbridge does not use artificial intelligence. Your profile, listings, applications, documents and messages are never sent to an AI provider, are never used to generate content, and are never used to train a model. Content filtering runs locally on a fixed rule list inside the app.
6. Content moderation and safety
- Automatic rule-based filtering on messages, biographies and listing descriptions.
- Block and Report controls on every profile, conversation and listing.
- Reports reviewed within 24 hours; offending content and accounts are removed.
- Permanent bans for users who violate the content policy.
7. Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS, stored data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider, and access is restricted. No online service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account (Profile › Settings › Delete Account, or by email) permanently removes your profile, listings, applications, messages, blocks and reports from our database within 30 days. Backups rotate out within 90 days.
9. Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA and equivalent laws you can access, correct, export, delete or restrict the processing of your data, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. See Privacy Choices.
10. Age
Footbridge is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Contact us if you believe a younger user has registered and we will remove the account.
11. International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Transfers out of the EU/EEA rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes are announced in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page is updated.
